Who’s the man behind the meat?

Introducing, Sean Larkin. Born and raised in Dallas, Sean began perfecting his craft in 2014. His passion for serving others delicious food can be tasted in everything he makes.

Whether it’s beef brisket, pork belly burnt ends, spare ribs, chicken, or even smoked salmon, Sean stays true to classic Texas-style BBQ, while adding his own touch with homemade rubs and sauces.

While Larkin Barbecue is just lighting its fire, Sean’s not a newcomer to catering events, big or small. He’s had the pleasure of serving hundreds of BBQ lovers throughout Texas, including events up to 200 in attendance.

You’ve likely seen him competing in the DFW area at events like Go Oak Cliff’s Blues, Bandits & BBQ, where he has been honored with top awards, including 1st Place Ribs! In 2024, he helped judge Meat Fest for the Fathers of St. Thomas Aquinas (FOSTA).

Sean resides in Garland with his wife (Jillian), son and soon-to-be-born daughter. The Larkin family also includes two dogs (Chance & Rut Roh) and two cats (Westley & Catt Damon).
